ENGINEERING SERVICES

Goodland Engineering is capable of carrying out a wide variety of work both in manufacturing and as a service to local industry.

Sheet Metal
Our Guillotine has a capacity of 3 metres x 6.5mm. We have two Bronx Computer Controlled Press Brakes, a 110 ton x 3 metre, and a 25 ton x 1.5 metre; a Computer Controlled High Definition Tornado CAD CAM Plasma Cutter, with 3 metre x 1500mm bed, which is capable of fast and accurate batch production work. We also have a Triumph TS 75 Nibbling machine, Rolling and Spot Welding equipment and can offer very competitive prices for Vessels, Ducting, Conical, Cabinet work etc.

Welding
We offer a unique repair service for cast iron, sheet and cast aluminium, bronze, copper, magnesium, stainless steel and most other types of metal. Our equipment includes Plasma, Arc, TIG and MIG welders. We also have Mobile welding units for site work.

Machining
Our machining facilities include a Colchester Mastiff, Triumph and Bantam lathes, with a maximum capacity of 7 feet between centres and a 3 feet diameter faceplate. We have horizontal and vertical milling machines and a threading machine with a capacity for 4 inch nominal bore tube and 2 inch bolts. A cold metal spray service is also offered for refurbishing worn and damaged parts. We undertake all types of milling and machinery work in all materials, including plastic.

Fabrication
We are capable of handling most types of jobs including profiling, shearing, punching, cropping and notching. Our equipment includes automatic turntables, bandsaws, radial drills, pipe bending equipment and rollers. We carry out structural Steelwork, Staircases, Fire Escapes, Chimneys, Vessels, etc. The above is just an overview of our services.
